ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Abigail, and I am the person behind this blog. I'm a graduating senior at Colorado State University with a double major in Anthropology and History, with a concentration in archaeology.

The picture above is of me at a media day for the women's rugby team. Photo credits belong to @olivia_took_this on Instagram. The background photos (if they're not book covers) on the blog are photos I took in Ireland while on a study abroad trip. The photo on the main page is of the Lough Gur wedge tomb, an archaeological site I got to go and visit back in 2023.

I started this blog both for a project in a class I took in the spring of 2025 and because I really like reading books! Each book I have currently up are books I've read recently, and each can be classified as what I like to call "archaeology fiction". I usually define that as fiction books that contain archaeology, or some subsect of archaeology, as a main theme.

I hope this inspires you all to read these books and learn more about archaeology.
